Simple & Delicious Indian Beef Curry

This Indian beef curry is rich in flavor yet easy to make. Perfect with rice or roti!
Ingredients:
• 500g beef (cut into cubes)
• 2 tbsp oil (coconut or regular)
• 1 onion (chopped)
• 2 garlic cloves (chopped)
• 1-inch ginger (grated)
• 2 tomatoes (diced)
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 2 cardamom pods
• 1 tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tsp coriander powder
• 1 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp garam masala (optional, for extra flavor)
• 1 cup water
• Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Sauté the Spices
Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions and sauté until soft. Add garlic, ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom, then stir until fragrant.
2. Cook the Tomatoes & Spices
Add tomatoes and cook until soft. Stir in turmeric, coriander, chili powder, and salt.
3. Cook the Beef
Add beef cubes and mix well with the spices. Pour in water, cover, and cook:
• In a regular pot: Simmer for 1.5–2 hours until the beef is tender.
• In a pressure cooker: Cook for 30 minutes after pressure builds.
4. Final Touches
Stir in garam masala (if using), let it simmer for 5 more minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.
5. Serve & Enjoy
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with rice or roti.
