Garlic Butter Baked Scallops

Ingredients:
1 pound sea scallops, patted dry
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crispiness)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Prepare the Garlic Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Coat the Scallops: Place the scallops in the prepared baking dish and drizzle the garlic butter mixture over them.
Add the Topping: In another bowl, combine Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the scallops.
Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the scallops are opaque and the topping is golden brown. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges. Enjoy!
