Ingredients:

3 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
3 chicken legs, bone-in, skin-on
1 ΒΌ cup buttermilk
1 Β½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp black pepper
ΒΎ tsp cayenne pepper
1 Β½ tsp salt
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 ΒΌ cup flour for dredging
2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

Marinate the Chicken: Place chicken in a bowl or resealable plastic bag. Squeeze lemon over chicken. Mix all ingredients except flour to prepare the marinade. Pour mixture over chicken and marinate for at least 1.5 hours or overnight.

Prep the Chicken: Remove chicken from marinade and dredge in flour, coating each piece thoroughly. Transfer dredged chicken to a wire cooling rack and let it set for 15 minutes.
