Cajun Salmon and Shrimp

Ingredients
For the Salmon:
2 salmon fillets
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp butter
For the Shrimp:
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp lemon juice
For Garnish:
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges
Instructions
Cook the Salmon:
Pat salmon fillets dry and season with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear salmon for 4-5 minutes on one side until crispy, then flip and add butter.
Cook for another 3-4 minutes until salmon is cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
Sauté shrimp for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Add butter and lemon juice, tossing shrimp to coat.
Serve:
Plate salmon and top with shrimp.
Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
Enjoy with rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.
