One-Pan Cheesy BBQ Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 cups uncooked penne pasta
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
½ cup crispy fried onions (optional, for topping)
Instructions
Cook the Chicken:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat.
Add the diced chicken, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Cook for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
Add Pasta & Liquids:

Stir in the uncooked penne pasta, chicken broth, barbecue sauce, and heavy cream.
Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, cover the pan, and let it cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
Add Cheese:

Once the pasta is cooked and the sauce has thickened, reduce the heat to low.
Stir in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and creamy.
Serve & Garnish:

Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Optionally, top with crispy fried onions for extra crunch and flavor.
