Steak & Garlic Butter Shrimp with Creamy Cajun Sauce ๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿฆ

A rich, indulgent surf and turf dish packed with bold flavors!

๐Ÿ“ Ingredients:
For the Steak:
2 filet mignon (or ribeye) steaks
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp butter
For the Garlic Butter Shrimp:
10 large shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
For the Creamy Cajun Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup beef broth
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
For Garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped
๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Directions:
1๏ธโƒฃ Cook the Steak:
Let steaks come to room temperature for 20 minutes.
Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust for doneness).
Add butter and baste the steaks for 1 minute. Remove and let rest.
2๏ธโƒฃ Cook the Shrimp:
In the same pan, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sautรฉ for 30 seconds.
Toss in shrimp, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes per side.
Drizzle with lemon juice and set aside.
3๏ธโƒฃ Make the Creamy Cajun Sauce:
In the same pan, melt butter and add garlic. Sautรฉ for 30 seconds.
Stir in Cajun seasoning and cook for 1 minute.
Pour in heavy cream, beef broth, Parmesan cheese, and Worcestershire sauce.
Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
4๏ธโƒฃ Assemble & Serve:
Plate the steak and spoon the creamy Cajun sauce over it.
Top with garlic butter shrimp and garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or crusty bread.
