Pecan Cream Pie

Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
– 1/3 cup granulated sugar
– 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup milk
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 cup cornstarch
– 1 cup pecans, chopped
Directions:
1. Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2. In a mixing bowl, blend together the graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup of sugar, and the melted butter until well combined. Press this mixture evenly into a pie plate to create the crust. Bake it for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until it is lightly browned.
3. Next, in a saucepan, mix together the heavy cream, milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, and cornstarch. Place it on medium heat and stir constantly until the mixture thickens.
4. Once the mixture has thickened, take it off the heat and gently fold in the chopped pecans.
5. Pour this filling into the cooled pie crust.
6. Let the pie chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. Enjoy your homemade Pecan Cream Pie!
